| Notes | ||
| Yutrus is actually an aspect of Incabulos, the god of disease. His powers are slightly different to reflect the different needs of the orcish priesthood. This duality is not known to the general population of Oerth. Plant and Animal spells may be used only to summon or control disease causing animals or plants, or to stop, ward off, or harm healthy animals and plants. The cost of the spheres is reduced to 7 points each to reflect this. Priests of Yutrus speak only when absolutely necessary Worship of Yutrus is usually conducted in crypts |

| Background | ||
|
Yutrus (actually an aspect of Incabulos) is the Orcish god of decay, and his tribes are among the most feared of all. The Rotting Eye and Leprous Hand tribes are known for their merciless depredation of the surrounding areas, and for the varied and creative deaths they inflict upon their captives. His priests rarely (sometimes never) speak, and are capable of casting their magics soundlessly -- even inside of a circle of Silence. Yutrus's goal is the complete domination of orcs (and eventually all humanoids) on Oerth, and his priests will stop at nothing to achieve that goal.
Worship of Yutrus is at best tolerated in other tribes -- those of Shargas outright forbid his worship. Though Yutrus is an outsider to the orcish pantheon, he brings them power, and more importantly fear. It's not considered safe to murder a priest of Yutrus, as the White Hand protects his own. |
