| Notes | ||
| There is a great enmity between the priests of Iuz and those of Saint Cuthbert Iuz is the lord of the country that bears his name, and the consort of Zuggtmoy (lady of Fungi), and the son of Iggwilv and Graz'zt. His relationship with these powers is at best strained, however. Priests of Iuz collect skulls as trophies Worship must always be in old, filthy and dark temples, burning of foul incense or dung is common, and blood sacrifice at bone altars As a demigod, Iuz's priests are based on 100 points, rather than the standard 120 |

| Background | ||
| Iuz the Old, returned from his imprisonment, is a potent force for evil in the northern Flanaess. He seeks to meld the lands of the Horned Society (once half of his kingdom, with his summer palace at Molag) back into his power, and to seized the whole of the northlands as his feifdom. Iuz's schemes are far-reaching and cunning, and it is only through the timely intervention of the agents of good and balance that he has been stopped. Iuz's priests are granted a generous amount of power to aid in his schemes, though the price is great. Constant communing with Iuz quickly corrupts his priesthood to ever greater depths of evil and depravity, though they are (of necessity) faithful to their lord. They act as both agents and enforcers for Iuz, expanding his reach to other lands, and maintaining his grip over the people of Iuz. |
