Map Notes

  • The Lightning Key to open the northeast gate can be found to the north.
  • The tunnel to the bat caves can be used as a shortcut past the behemoths to the north.
  • The door to the south can only be opened from the other side.
  • Description

    There's nothing much interesting in the Lightning Clan Glen, but get used to the scenery -- you'll be going back and forth through it for some time to come.

    Monsters

    A few glops will linger here at first, as well as giant worms (fortunately not poisonous like their relatives in the first Dungeon Master). The worms are best fought by evasion: wait for them to pop out of the ground, get in a few hits, and back away. When slain, they yield worm rounds, which (though not very appetizing) can be eaten for a modest amount of food value.

    Descriptions

    A. The path back to the Ra Clan Village.
    B. This door can be only be opened from the other side.
    C. The entrance to Castle Skullkeep -- you need all four clan keys to enter.
    D. A ladder down to the bat caves, complete with a dead bat.
    E. This path leads to the Behemoth's Den.
    F. This gate is opened with the lightning clan key, found to the north.
