Maybe
you've heard that the Pacific Northwest has been having a little weather in the
last few weeks. Well, we're having a real Central Oregon winter for a
change and it's not all bad. It snows some days then it gets cold and
clear. The snow crunches beneath your boots and the air is about as fresh
and bracing as air can be. It's great fun to strap on the snowshoes and
tromp out the through the woods by the house.
Of course, there is the need to deal with all that snow as it
falls, and - being more or less acclimated to the niceties of life such as
groceries and DVDs - auto and foot access into and around the house seems to be necessary.
Of course we could just snowshoe all the way to town and back but we're not that
outdoorsy!
