FTP Information

Once you have an FTP client, you will need to copy the file from your machine to the CMC web server. You do this by telling your client to login to www.cmc.net and to use your username and password to login. (This is the same name and password you use elsewhere on CMC: the username is your mail address without the '@cmc.net' part of it.)

This should put you into a directory called /users/username. This is where you should put your web page. Your main entry page should be named index.html, and this is what people will see when they look at your web site without specifying a file.

(Your web address will be http://www.cmc.net/~username, which you can tell people as soon as you have something to show them!)
