How to create a dial-up connection in Mac OS 10/X

1.Click on your Apple icon (top left)

2.Click on "System Preferences"

3.Click on "Network"

4.Make sure that "Show" has "Internal or External Modem" listed in the drop-down menu. Click on the "PPP" tab.

5.Next to "service Provider" type in cmc.net, next to "Account Name" type in your username (do not type in "@cmc.net" after it), next to "Password" type in your password, next to "Telephone Number" type in the access number

6.Click on the "TCP/IP" tab, make sure that "Configure" shows "Using PPP" in the drop-down menu

7.Click "Apply Now" in the bottom right, and close the window
